dang, sierra denali for 30k...
I bought one of our project managers a Sierra Denali AWD about a month ago. It is white/tan and is a really damn nice truck. It's actually what encouraged me to go ahead and buy my white/tan Yukon Denali. I put about 60 miles on the Sierra Denali before having the PM pick it up and I thought it was pretty damn impressive. He's averaging 16mpg in mixed driving too. Not bad for a 400hp AWD truck that can tow and haul a lot of weight. Basically the whole interior is straight out of a Yukon Denali.

If you need a nice truck, you just cannot go wrong with a Sierra Denali.

I am also tempted to buy a C6 but with the navigation and interior package, since I want something a bit more comfortable that has performance. Unfortunately, the 3LT package will cost me 53k for an 08 Vette that is out of my price range. The C6 is nice but the base model has the interior refinement of the Pontiac G6 rental that I have, with seats that have no support.

I think I'm going back to considering a G37 coupe.

Is GM losing a lot of money for under-selling all these vehicles?

Not as much as they'd be losing not selling them at all.

They have some of the worse gas consuming vehicles available, so they'll do whatever it takes to sell their cars quickly.

Actually, they have the most vehicles that get over 30mpg too, so its a mixed bag. Trucks don't get good mpg, and that's what GM's known for.

Yes, but GM trucks get better mileage than anyone else's trucks, so if someone needs a truck with good gas mileage GM is the only answer.

That's true. You've got me there. I forgot about their economical cars, such as the Chevy Cobalt, which my g/f owns and dd. It gets a good 30+ mpg in mixed driving.
