The thing that kills me is, people were knocking Pontiac T/As in the late 90s and early "naughts" for having all kinds of radical and unnecessary flares and bulges. But quite a large percentage of the hyper-luxo boutique modder market is full of styling atrocities that add far too much to already wild cars. Lorinser and Gemballa are two such examples.

This "Volcano" is another such case. It's a Merc SLR. Don't drag its status down by turning it into a 6-figure fanboi Civic. Any more, I half expect these things to be shown to prospective buyers with those off-angle muffler-exhaust combos you see on Rexes, tCs, and any other manner of Japanese tuner platform.

It had a good run, but can we retire the word "fanboi"? When situations that require the word (we can all easily spot these instances) can't we simply agree that it's implied so that none of us has to was precious bandwidth on the word? I think it's safe to assume about 50% of the bandwith used goes to sending the word "fanboi" to and from each other. From there 49.9% is used for p o r n (this could be a much better/higher % if we didn't waste our time constantly sending the word fanboi to and receiving the word fanboi from on another). The other 0.1% is used for everything else. (+-0.1% error)

Agreed?
