HELP! Just sold my e36 M3/4... what next? I have n

Well, it's done. I'll pick up my gorgeous Silverstone/Black MY00 S2K on Friday. Absolute immaculate condition... a true gem. Even the back window is flawless. 75k miles with 95% highway. Service records, etc. All for under $15k.
565565, I appreciate your thoughts. Despite the compressed time frame, I was able to drive all sorts of cars, including: e46 M3 Cab, several S2Ks, WRX and a WRX STi. I briefly considered a Boxster S but regular maintenance and insurance costs diverted me. What I really wanted was a convertible, which limited my options significantly. I also wanted something pre-owned due to the depreciation hit of buying new. In the end, I found a car that I love (as does my wife) and that I can buy in cash, which reduces a monthly payment. In the end, I am happy. Besides, my wife was freaking out about the thought of an STi and would have had an equal reaction to a Vette. She did like the p-car
Thanks for all of the help everyone! Can't wait to join the S club
EDIT: here are pics

Wait a minute, if you picked this up on FRIDAY, why did you make this post on SATURDAY?

You certainly get right down to business, from original post to conclusion in just a little over 24 hours.

I'm also goin from an e46 m3 to an s2000. Not because I feel like its an upgrade, but because I'm going back to school and saving around 10k would be nice on my pocket and because hondas are easier to maintain.

go with a new S while you're in CA. Everyone has an M3 here.
It's a cheaper car to buy and it is much cheaper to maintain, particulary compared to a used-M3 (M3 < $25K is going to be very used and beaten on).
You can get an s2K out the door new for around 30K or so, or better yet, pick up a used 05 (good year -- AP2, no VSA, best seats, nicest rims ) for just under $25K and enjoy the PCH

350Z: not a lot of love for the 350Z amongst s2k guys, but it sells such high volumes for a reason.
