Default How loud is the S2000?

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone could help me with this. I want to get the S2000 bad, but a friend of mine told me that he can't even talk on his cell phone because it's just way too loud. Is it even too loud with the top up? How about on the freeway? Is it really that impossible to talk on the cell phone while your driving? Or is that only when you rev to the 6-9,000 mark? Please feed me info!

So, basically, the most important feature of your next car is that its quiet enough you can talk on your cell phone while driving at freeway speeds?

Give me a $#&@ break.

Please don't ever come to Toronto. I don't want to get rear-ended a second time by someone not paying attention while talking on their cell phone, and not noticing that
a) traffic ahead is stopped
b) he's still going 120 km/h.

when you are running around close to redline in any car, you should not be on the phone anyways.

The Toyota Camry's are very silent on the inside and provides a smooth ride. Perhaps, you'd like to reconsider cars.

You should have no problem with sound during normal driving.

it is loud.
some mag did a test of and it was the second loudest stock car on the market.
the ferrari 360 spyder with the top down was the only car that was louder.
There were trying to get it to be as loud as possible so they were driving at like 70 mph with the top down. This resulted in something over 90dB.

oh yeah and i have to add. don't drive and talk on you're cell phone. It is dangerous and people always lean over to the middle of the car when on a cell phone...you look like a rod!!

Just get a new Kyocera phone and put it on speaker phone!! Works wonders on the highway.

And the rest of you, shut up about the drivingwhileoncellphone thing. Some people are vigilant and can multitask. Leave the poor guy who asked a simple question alone!
