Get an EVO or STI.

Sure the Elise might be worse in snow...but man...190hp...4.6 0-60....Dang...and to drive a Lotus?! I'd say go with the Lotus.

It's illegal to run studs in a lot of locations. And chains? On a lotus?

I agree with Carlson if you still want bang for your buck I would go with an STI.

I wouldn't think those buying an elise would use it as a daily driver...but that's me. Also, are oyu on the waiting list for the elise? it's fastly approaching a one year wait and it's not going any where near msrp....with few options you can expect to pay about 46,000 american.

If you aren't already on the list, there is little chance of you even getting one this year or next.

I would think the Elise would have a harder time getting around because it is so much lighter. You'd have to be hardcore or just plain crazy to drive an Elise in the snow.

I'm trying to decide whether to trade my S2000 for an Elise, too. I need a car that is good on the track and also does great off-roading. Here's a pic I took last summer fording Little Goose Creek in the Big Horn National Forest with my son's F-150.

Which are do you think I should have to cross Little Goose, an Elise or an S2000?????
