I found one used IS-F for 40k, but it had a ton of miles, and new it isn't in my price range. Might still look at the used one, but over 20k miles / year is a little bit of a red flag... The car is something to consider though if I could find one for a good deal, I had forgotten about the car entirely.
No way. I'd take that car with high mileage like that because you know it's all highway miles. There's no chance that car was beat up in day to day, bumper to bumper grind. It's just smooth, easy highway miles.

Of course, you'll need to prepare for some maintenance but it likely won't be bad at all. I'd also factor in resale but only if you're looking to turn it over in the near future. Otherwise, **** it, go for that car if it's cheap enough.

Please excuse my ignorance, but when you guys say c63 AMG, are you referring to the AMG black series or not?
There's no such car as the C63 AMG Black Series. You must be thinking about the CLK63 AMG Black Series. The CLK63 Black Series is a two-door two-seater. You can find them used for $80k-$90k. One of my dream cars.

And I did drive a G35 and hated it - the car just felt like a boat. That is my fear with the larger E63 as well, but the adjustable suspension is a great feature and one that I need to see if it is available on the 335i or the S4. Being able to drive long trips in comfort but let loose when I want to on a windy back road is the ideal situation, essentially 2 cars in one, as opposed to my STI that is a flippin' blast for the 5% of the time I am pushing the car but miserable just cruising and feeling every small bump.
The E63 is a big car, but the suspension is much better than on the non-AMG E's, but don't expect it to handle like an S4, 335, M3 etc.

The exhaust note and power is intoxicating though. Same goes for the C63, but the back seat is on the small side due to the bigger seats up front.

335d.
Looks like we're alone on this one. Could be that we are the only ones that have driven it.

335d is a great car but it's a bit small, in my opinion. My wife's Civic has more interior room, it seems.
