Actually, it still is quite a bit faster than the S2k, it can sit 4 people and has a usable trunk
The times that I have seen for them are fairly comparable

i heard it doesn't have an automatic, thats why i kind of want it, i hurt my left leg a lot.

I actually mailed a bombshell of a letter to BMW USA concerning the E46 M3. One of the issues was the convertibel "M"3. The concept of M [Motorsports] and Convertible are diametrically opposed to one another. I wouldn't pay a dime for the car, personally, but that's just me.

The main issue I had with the E46 M3 is that it's so luxurious and so damned massive.

Very fast and competent car, but imagine if it were more like the Integra Type R. Yes, there is the CSL, but how much of a premium are you going to pay for the very limited edition vehicle? IMHO, they all should have been similarly done - without the paddle shifting trans of course. No proper heel and toeing individual would opt for the electronics doing it for you...
