I have been thinking of picking up an s2000 for a while now. Unfortunatly my honda days were years ago and my knowledge of hondas doesn't go any beyond camming, exaust, and intake with a b series motor. I recently sold my 06 WRX. I am worried I will be somewhat downgrading with an s2000. My WRX was a 12.3x second car all day long. Besides the transmission work I only had about 5 grand into the "power" mods. It made 309 whp and 345 ft/lbs on a conservative tune. Will I be happy with an S2000? What will it cost to make it a low 12 second car?

 

The S2000 is the worst car ever made. You should never buy one. I'm sure most others here will share my opinion

LMAO!!! Wow, we all just gave this guy the WORST first impression of s2k drivers. Awesome, pure awesomeness.

Anyhow, making an s2k into a 12.3 car will cost you a FORTUNE. But I can guarantee driving a 14.0 s2k is probably more of an experience than your modded out WRX(and i do like those cars)

 

Since we're being serious, the turboed guys can do that for $10K, some even less expensive than that, but they do a lot of the works themselves.

I'd still say "Mustang!"
