by about 250lbs. Legacy GT Limited with leather/sunroof/heaters/etc. 3300lbs verified when cornerweighted.

I saw one in person too... I thought the two tone belonged to the Protege more than the 6. The way the two tone was done wasn't exactly my fav.

Remember, Mazdaspeed cars can only be worked on at Mazdaspeed certified dealers. That brings the support network down a lot if you ever need work done. Technically, non-Mazdaspeed dealers aren't even allowed to touch a Mazdaspeed car.

Also, the MS6 only comes w/ a manual, while the LGT has both manny and auto. The LGT hasmore color choices, if that matters. The price is the same for both cars. Subaru is also considered more upmarket than Mazda, if that matters too.

Have you driven the LGT? The interior is very nice, the frameless windows are nice, and the blat of the engine is unique and nice sounding. Overall, I think the Subie has a bit better feel to it, its awd is more developed and tried and true, and the ergonomics are good.

If it looks as good as its pics then I predict brisk sales. So, how much boost do you figure the stock Mazda internals can take...

I just wish they made them in two door, especially the 5 door hatch.

Enh -- the Mazdaspeed's around 500 lbs. heavier than the RX-8. The RX-8 is a sports car -- the Mazdaspeed is distinctly not.
