An F20C redlines at 9000RPM. Does an S2000 running 10PSI generate over 300ft/lb of torque just above 2000 RPM? 'course not.
Assuming the engine is built to handle it I don't see why this cant be somewhat reliable. The engine is made by hand and probably built to exacting tolerances and with beefy components. Something tells me its probably about as reliable as my Mazdaspeed 3 with perhaps 300bhp after basic bolt ons. Only time will tell.

great job Mercedes. I love this car. Just look at the seats! gorgeous!
I'm a big fan of CLS. Now the CLA is just as good as CLS without the price tag.

The S2000 also in part makes good power with low boost because of its high static compression. In any event it seems we agree, they are just totally different engines; I just get sick of Honda fanboys having to compare everything to the greatness that is Honda, the untouchable god of the automotive world

Here's hoping it can actually achieve its target 40+ mpg.

And there aren't too many reliable Turbo'd s2ks even at only 350-4000 whp. Most owners do a lot of their own work and have to always fix small issues. And I still haven't seen too many Turbo'd s2ks that can take the abuse/heat of tracking their car. While I bet this cla could do it all day long
