psi is a function of several variables, the number itself is only loosely correlated with power output. 10psi from one turbo is not the same as 10psi on another turbo, much less 10psi from one turbo attached to one drive train versus 10psi from a different turbo attached to a different drive train.

Interesting car but I'm not sure what their objective was with this drive train unless fuel efficiency or some other category is much improved against other options.

Bingo, pressure is just pressure, doesn't take account of volume.
