get stock mirrors, they just work better
the cheap e-bay crap from China uses inferior hardware, and has a tendency to vibrate then snap off
stay stock

This is a Honda 919? The stock ones are big round chrome things, right? Similar to the 599's big rectangular chrome things?
If so, Rizoma mirrors are MUCH better than the stock chrome monstrosities.

Yes, big mickey mouse ear mirrors on the 919 - totally ridiculous.
Magical racing has one possible set, for $370 - a bit more than Rizomas.
I'm actually looking at Tanax and Daytona mirrors (posted above) - they are highly regarded in Japan. Tanax are around $30-40US, Dayonas $80US.

I was in a similar situation. Do not buy Ebay or no name stuff. They vibrate, and they do not provide wide enough view. Make sure that the mirrors are concave; not plain.
For me, I went with CB599 mirrors. Cheap (~$50) and functional. I don't mind the looks (they look OK to me).

Got the mirrors today - put them on and went for a quick ride to play with getting them positioned. They are slightly convex, and they work for mirrors although I do have to bring my elbows in to see directly behind me.
I'll do a shake down once I get some free time and good weather. They certainly look better than stock.
