Sadly, there is not much out there that is a modernized S2000. If you're looking for the closest thing, it will be the ND Miata no question. However, it still will not feel the same as an S2k. The s2000 is truly unlike any other car. In order to find a 'modern one', you'd have to look for something with 50/50 weight distribution, 8200-9000 rpm redline, VTEC, convertible, and a smooth manual transmission. Nothing like that in today's world exists.

I'm looking for an accord replacement, oh you should look into a Bentley continental, they have 4 doors and are unusually sporty for its segment.
I think you're forgetting that this guy is looking for a modern s2000, a Bentley Continental is the complete opposite.

Default What’s modern mean?

To the OP here’s a clarifying question, what does modern mean here. Does that mean something you can buy new today? Does it refer to modern features that we generally didn’t have ten years ago like blind sport monitoring, cooled seats, CarPlay, etc? Some of this stuff I poopoo since I drive my S2000 daily. I’ve tested some late model Camaro and I’ve gained an appreciation for how nice that stuff is.
