it is just a fast station wagon. at least porsche isn't trying to act like it is a hummer or some crap. compared to a lot of SUV's it doesn't look that bad. And I'm sure it handles well and is very fast. It will be great for what most people use SUV's for, talking on the cell phone, running the kids to soccer, not looking where they are going..and other stuff like that!!

Gadzooks this thing is hidious and bland... guess that's what happens when you co-design a platform with VW (who's SUV coming out is also lackluster).
Mind you, I hate SUVs in general but from a design point,

I dont like the SUV so much, but like everyone else i think the best thing about it is the engine.
Also, in the new Motor Trend (Oct02) There's talks of a 2006 Porsche "E2" with the Cayenne engine(s). The artist drawings look preety good and it says IF it gets a green light, it would be a FRONT engine 2+2 w/ the choice of the Cayenne (340 hp)or the Cayenne Turbo (450 hp)
