Default My buddy wants a Dodge Challenger...

My good friend just passed the bar exam and is wondering what he wants to buy with his money that he is now making at his job. He currently drives a '99 Z3 and always asks me for car advice. Lately, we have been talking Cayman, so I was shocked to hear tonight when he called that he wants a Dodge Challenger. I don't know much about them, but I am not a big fan of the whole retro muscle car era happening now. Anybody know anything about what these are supposed to be like? Fat, powerful, straight-line monsters? Z3 to a Challenger? Jeez.

It's his choice. Let him have what he wants.

what's wrong with challengers? I like the concepts design, and besides, it'll have a badass motor!

Eh, not such a bad car, isn't it based on the old E-class like the 300 and so forth?

I like the Cayman but it doesn't exactly ooze masculinity - more of a metrosexual's whip if you ask me

I actually was eyeing up that new challenger myself. He should get it. It will indeed have a bad ass engine. And its based on a whole new platform. Tell him to get it!!!

Cayman vs Challenger. Hmmm... I could see why someone would cross-shop those two.

Nothing wrong with a Challanger except the wait and the HUGE mark up for them the first year that they are out.

Why is talking someone out of buying a car something you are wasting brain cells on?

I got lots and lots of brain cells. If you were in my shoes, you would do the same. It's tough living amongst people of lesser brain-cell numbers and I just want to fit in with the imbeciles.
