Default Need some info...

How many of you guys has towed a car with your s2k? is it possible? im looking to buy an impreza and want to have it towed. i only have my s2k and just wanted to know if its possible. if not, then renting a car would be the other choice. thanks

The S is not designed to tow anything, however, people have towed small utility trailers (for tools and tires to the track) and one member even towed a huge boat but only for less than a mile to get it to and from the water.
I believe your owner's manual has a section that covers towing. I think it says NOT to do it. You certainly would be ill-advised to tow a car behind an S for any distance.

It might be able to, but it would be harsh on your clutch. The low-torque of the S2000 makes it bad for towing. Also, as previously stated, the owner's manual specifically says the S2K should not be used for towing.

You never gave a reason that the Impreza can't tow the S2000. I just don't want to assume it's not running.
