Bout time. Hopefully some SERIOUS R&D goes into the rotary. I think turbo 4 would have been the way to go. But, I understand sticking with the pedigree. I hope they create the new rotary with turbo in mind. It is inevitable that it will need more power.

However, if they can actually stay around $30k and not go above 2800lbs. Could be a real gem

If Mazda can make something that is fun and reliable like the original SA/FB and FC were, it could be great, but it's last two rotary efforts were pretty lackluster.

250 hp and 2800 lbs, if they stick to these numbers it should have similar performance to the S2000.
