I love how he said he wants a fuel efficent vehicle and everyone is suggesting V6s and old high end luxury cars. Buy a old Mazda3 and call it day.
ha ha ha...

Very typical of an enthusiast car forum. Some people's inability to think outside of the luxury/sports car box is pretty hilarious.
Yeah, I guess because we enjoy nice cars it's against the rules to have a eco-friendly shitbox for monday through friday and the occasional drunk night at the bar lol

I prefer the Accord overall, for driving pleasure, but for long highway stints, the Camry is definitely a better car.
i had 2003 4 cylinder Camry XLE. good car. very easy and cheap to maintain. good on gas, easy to drive,..etc. but very boring obviously and no balls at all. i got smoked by Chevy Malibu (i think it was v6) so i had to get a different car. it's a damn good car but i couldn't drive that thing everyday. i got really fed up with boring car and i had to get something else.

it had over 100k but absolutely no problems at all and i bet it will do another like 500k without a problem. very solid car.

I recently got a 99 civic 4 door with 160k miles, which can be had for around $3500. It's spacious, comfy, 5 speed trans, and nearly 40mpg on the highway. Best of all, it's such a simple and cheap car to work on, no matter what needs to be done.
