New Dodge Challenger
I saw a brand new Dodge Challenger on the roady today. Shiny black. That car looks so awesome. Anyone have any experience with it?
It's an American car, so I thought everything was plastic on the inside. They sure don't make them like they used to.
Is it a quality build? Or does it just look nice, but is made out of crap?

seen a few on the road...looks cool, much better on the road than up close/in a showroom. but in a few months it's going to blend in just like the 06+ mustangs eventually did, and the chargers as well.
Oh man. That is the one thing that I don't want to happen. Everywhere I look I see corvettes, mustangs, and chargers. Hence my love for the S2k.
Such a beautiful car, but I would lose interest in it if I saw it everywhere everyday. I didn't even think about that.
It's absolutely HUGE!
I have a pic of me standing at the rear of a real Challenger and the salesman and I compared it to me standing behind the new Challenger. We concluded the rear bumper is at least 8" higher and the car looks to be about 6" wider.
We compared stats and found out the Challenger is much closer to the old Charger, in other words a full size sedan and not a pony car.
But with that said, there was one running in the Koni Challenge at Daytona (although you'd have never known it by the coverage in Speed). It was it's first race and it did quite well considering this was it's first time on track.
It looked nice going down thru the corners.

Muscle cars of the past didn't exactly have great interiors, but there was also a huuuuge difference between high end and low end cars whereas these days quality of say a C class merc vs. a honda accord is almost comparable.
I don't think you'll see them in numbers like the chargers or mustangs, I believe they're making them rather low production.
Either you get this car or you don't, those who get it will love it to death, most of us will never get it. My bro absolutely adores this car, and despite me liking muscle cars I could never really get into this one (prefer the mustang surprisingly). But yeah, does look awesome in black.
