Default NSX?

Just wondering why the NSX is still being brought to the U.S. or made? I heard only 25 got sold or around there. This doesnt to be profitable for honda at all? How many does Japan sell each year? Maybe this balances it?

yeh but I'm going from marketing and business POV. The reason why Toyota has no sports car yet it is #1 since it focuses its money and resources hybrid, fuel economy, econo cars etc.

It's one thing to be old, it's another thing to be a laughing stock. The NSX has now reached the point where it drags the brand DOWN. That's a very sad state of affairs for a so-called flagship car.

To an ordinary person going to the Acura dealership, the NSX is is still a swoopy, expensive, and dare I say it -- exotic -- car to admire momentarily before trading in the Camry for a TSX.

I actually almost got one several months back, until I got screwed by Acura of South bay (Torrance, CA). I do agree at $90K it is wildly overpriced. I was going to get one at $799/month for 36 months. Breaking it down it came out to a similar lease to a $50K car. At that price I would seriously consider the NSX. This car is still very much on par with the Porsche 911, M3, Audi S4, etc. Back in the day it competed against the Ferrari, and Porsche's higher end, but now it competes on mid-level performance cars. At $50K it makes sense as a great looking, sporty car. At $90K there are just too many other cars that could be gotten.

Hell, I thought that about the RL until the new one finally came out.

Acura sold 221 NSXs in 2003. 233 in 2002.
