Get over it people. Honda stopped making sports cars LONG ago.

Bullshit. The Z4M has virtually no suspension. It's not surprising to find out that it's made in America, people who think a car with no suspension is sporty. One of the worst rides ever, BMW should be ashamed of that car.

I don't think anyone is saying the S2000 is the best ever of anything in the universe. However it is CLEARLY the best purely sports car ever made. Period.
The Z4 is 100% BMW design. It may be made in the US but I really doubt the assembly line guys had anything to do with the suspension design. I mean do we claim the people in Finland are the reason why the Boxster is so much fun to drive?

Also, I don't know that it's even credible to say Amerians think cars with no suspension travel are sports cars. What you are saying was true of the C4 Corvette and the last F-body and Fox body Mustangs (all of which were old). However, it wasn't true of many other cars here. The current Corvettes are actually considered to be remarkable livable (regardless of what Top Gear says).

Uh, you do realize the Z4 M's suspension is mostly borrowed from the M3 CSL, right?

[QUOTE=herminator,Mar 20 2010, 09:20 PM] just take the already known definitions of the motor and expand them for two further cylinders.

[QUOTE=deathsled,Mar 20 2010, 11:23 PM] You have horrible math skills, lol.

If the motor was expanded into a straight six by adding on 2 more cylinders it would be a 3.0L (or 3.3 if using the f22).

Not sure if serious.

Also, what a horrible bump to a thread. Useless.
