So I'm minding my biz with the top down in my S driving home on the LIE going west bound(into manhattan) and what do I see in my side view, a Mclaren. I'm in the left lane, he catches up to me, I give him a nod, he gives me a nod back and I was officially in shock. The traffic opened up a little and we were playing around a little, he followed every subtle acceleration I made until we hit the mid town tunnel. We hit the ez pass and I'm in the left lane, he's in the right in the tunnel. Then what happened was just amazing, the sound of the Mclaren basically wide open in a low gear echoing throughtout the entire tunnel
. I decided to throw the S into 2nd and the harmony was just so amazing I will never forget it. We hit the end of the tunnel, he goes mid-town, I go downtown and the dude gave me a thumbs up and a wave. Just simply awesome.
An hour later I run into a GT-R. It was a very nice day. I'll upload a couple of pics in a few.

It's always awesome when guys who drive cars like that are cool about it.
One day a few months ago I saw a yellow Gallardo traveling toward me on a road in town, 30mph speed limit so there was plenty of time for us to see each other. I gave a thumbs up and he just stared ahead not acknowledging at all.
A day or two later I saw a red R8 on the same stretch of road so I gave another thumbs up. This time the driver gave the biggest wave and had a huge smile on his face as we drove past each other. That's what I like to see.

And it's definitely something I love about the S community too. Even the peeps that aren't on the forums or even know it exists, when I wave they smile and wave back. I love it.

Was the Mclaren black? I had a similar encounter with a black mp4-12C two weeks ago on the garden state parkway. He was obviously toying with me but he did give a nod before he took off like I was standing still. Unbelievable car, and he definitely did know what the S2K was because he was obviously speeding up slowing down just kind of messing around when I was finally able to catch up!!!
I read they trap about 130 MPH! Just stupid fast. He pulled about 2 football lengths on me within 10 seconds or so from 70 MPH, and I was going 110 +, he must have been upwards of 150. Then when he slowed down I saw the wing shoot up to help slow the car down.
