Honda sure has turned around its sportbike program over the last couple of year - the new gen CBR's are sweet.

^^^Turn around? Since when were they behind? I do agreed with you that the new CBR are fking sweet. Very lightweight and transition feel effortless.

Honda has always made solid, reliable sportbikes, but has been too conservative vs. the competition, usually w/ more weight and less power.

The turnaround to class-leading bikes began in '07 for the 600 and '08 for the 1000. Their current gen CBR's are truly stunning IMO, and have raised the bar for their respective classes.
