Prelude or Integra?
I find preludes more interesting for the fact that honda puts the current years advanced tech in the cars. Hence the name "prelude", despite some of the critisism it's kind of cool to have tranction control in a honda, or 4 wheel steering. And the newer ludes come pretty close to 200hp!
Having owned a Prelude, I know the car all too well. If anything, repairing a Prelude is WAY more costly and time-consuming than an Integra. Integra parts are abundant and are found in many other Honda models. You can get a good transmission of an Integra on eBay and do that swap yourself. For a Prelude, it's a hassle to find the parts and the engine bay is just cluttered with stuff.
On the flip-side, the Prelude, although seemingly large and heavy, is very agile. I love cornering in a Prelude more than I do in an Integra. The seating position in the Prelude is more relaxed as well and the cup holders are located where they wont hit the headunit [Integra design sucks there].
Personally, if I was choosing between an Integra Type R and a Prelude Type SH, I would jump on the Type R any day. But between an Integra GS/LS or a Prelude base, I would take the Prelude.

if ur asking about the si/vtec models.. that's cuz ur thinkin of the 4th gen preludes (92-96)
the si is only 160 hp
vtec is 190, only came in manual.
unfortunately honda never bothered to improve on the prelude's engine much over the 9 year period and left it as the h22a.. but that's cuz they were probably workin on the s2k =-P
as for the 5th gen preludes.. (97-01)
97-98 models were 195 hp
99-01 were 200hp
(those are for manual transmission.. as for automatic... 97-98 was 190, 99-01 195) according to honda.
HOWEVER, i believe the 5hp increase is all key-stroke by honda, they didn't want the accord v6 to have "200hp" where the "sports coupe" prelude only had 195, so they just rounded up. Kind of like how the 99-00 Civic SI was 163 hp, and the integra GSR is 167 hp.. but they figured "why pay more for 4 hp.. so they rounded 167 up to 170, and 163 down to 160.. 10 hp diffrence.. *shrug*
prelude
type-SH had atts
base model was lighter
handling in either will rape the integra (excluding the type-R)
obviously the integra type-R would be a better buy with its LSD and being a lot lighter and having great handling.. but if u wanna compare it vs. the LS, or the GS-R
LS=140 hp
GSR=170 hp
Type-R=200 hp
*shrug*
