Default Project NSX: FX Motorsports Development & MotoIQ

Follow the build of FX Motorsports Development and Moto IQ's "Project NSX" at MotoIQ

Our project car is starting life as a humble used 1992 Grand Prix White NSX with 130,000 miles on the clock. Our plans are to upgrade the suspension to world class standards with modern state of the art dampers. We plan to give the anemic for modern times V6 a lift with a fortified bottom end and eventual turbocharging to meet our goal of about 500 whp with excellent driveabilty. Modern brakes and sticky rubber are also in the long term plans for Project NSX. Stay tuned and make sure to catch all of the articles!

Hey Matt, how are ya doing?

How could I forget you and Planet Acura? I didn't know you were affiliated with Honda World? How so? Do you know Jim Kitzmiller there?

Awesome.

Just out of curiosity, how much would something like this cost?

What part, the deburring/polishing, WPC treatment, or both?

Hey Billy, it's Eric, Jims son.

Is this build going to replace the FX750? Or are you guys planning on running both?

Hope everything is going well... Congrats on the Rousch ride too!

Hey Eric,

Project NSX is a separate car not destined to be a racecar, despite having almost all the same components as the FX750 racecar. Stay tuned and watch the build!

Thanks, my next race is next weekend at Barber Motorsports Park with Jack Roush Jr.
