Ahh.. so they took the car to LA. I used to see the R8 every morning on my walk to work, then all of a sudden it vanished from the Audi Forum showroom.

Lovely car, but it doesnt have the same dramatic presence like a true exotic car. And to be honest, I drooled more over the imola RS4 that used to sit right next to it

I like the front, but not crazy about the rear.

It doesn't have that "exotic" presence that I was hoping would go along with the 6-digit price...

I wish it weighed about 300-400lbs less and came without the cross drilled rotors, but other then that....I think it's a very nice looking car.

Where is it stated that this car will be in the $50k-$60k range?

his point is countering the claim that the R8 looks like a $50-60K car. Hence the "what $50-60K car looks like that?" In other words, it looks much more expensive than $50-60K.

pretty sure that all of its lights are leds..
and it is all opinion, but with the specs on that car- its gotta be really hot!
also funny about the comment that the rear doesnt look great- kinda the opposite of what i was thinking.
i like its larger rear- very muscular, and nice refinements (dual exhausts), etc.
to me, its a refined exotic- plenty of muscle, with a high rev engine, great lines, but not so out there. nice engine windows, great stance and the sound clips indicate a nice roar from the rear.
shift by wire, great handling and a real sound system!
the only thing it doesnt have that i really have gotten used to with my past two cars is the top- it has one and i am no longer used to having a top on a car...

not to mention 0-60 in 4.4!

A very sharp looking car. If I were going to buy it I would get it without the black slash on the side. I read in C&D that you can order it without that but it's extra. There was also a really sharp looking CF package for the engine bay.
