I've seen a few R1Ts and R1S on the road - helps that i work in Irvine - their headquarters location.

My bro is on the pre-order list pre-price hike. getting the full decked out Quad-motor model for under $80K - eta is sometime in the second half of 2023.

I have an R1T as well. I have had it for 5 weeks. 17 months after I ordered it. My first EV. It's definitely nice and well built. The tonneau cover was a failed design and mine was broken on arrival. The redesign will be available in early 2023 and done under warranty. Only issue I have had so far.

It has regen braking. A normal and a high regen. I haven't had to do a test stop but the truck slows down quickly due to the regen. A lot of trucks weigh a lot.

Fair enough, but my point of reference was my old 1992 Toyota (really stripped, a fleet cancellation) at about 2650LB.

Just saw an R1S in Westlake, TX (DFW) driving home yesterday pulling out of Fidelity Investments regional HQ and it looked nice. I have a little Rivian stock, so I hope they keep improving production, quality, and profitability!

It's quick. On the 20" all-terrains no less. I wish they would repeated the test off-road also.
