According to R&T the S2000 is faster than the 350Z up to 60mph, 1/4 mile, and salom speed.

According to R&T, the S2000 has a higher Gs and does faster slalom than the Mclaren F1 .

Blah. There have been enough races on this board to settle the question on which car is faster, 0-60 or 1/4 mile and it's 90% driver (10% Z is a slightly faster car.)

If you subtract the 0-60 MPH time from the 0-100 MPH time you get a decent idea of the 60-100 MPH time. As in a highway roll off. Note that this is not the same as a time to distance measurement, which is actually what you experience when you play with another car on the road. If the cars are fairly close in capability it's possible that the one with the "slower" time could still be ahead of the "faster" one by the time you reach 100 MPH if it has more initial torque hence an intial jump of say a half car length. Some 60-100 MPH mental-math examples - hope I didn't screw up!

s2000 8.7 seconds

Porsche B.S. 8.7

350 Z 8.6

M3 6.9

WRX 10.3

RSX-S 11.3

Acura CL/TL-S 9.8

NSX 7.0

Keep in mind that they dont have all the cars tested the same day. Weather, and other factors include differences. But at least this magazine keeps on posting them.

The 350z gets better mileage. This shows how hard our 2.0 is breathing!
