Looks a lot like a baby CGT to me. That's a good thing!

I can't imagine how quick it is. I wonder if it's very twitchy? The Cayman has a pretty short wheelbase and with that kind of power on tap, it's got to be pretty tailhappy.
Yea for a quick second I thought it was a GT as well. That thing is awesome!

I dont know if this is the case or not, but taking a look at the CTR3, it looks as though they may have lengthened the wheelbase of the Cayman.

Maybe they will source the transmission from Magneti Marelli?

The Cayman is an amazing car, just a little underpowered. I think Ruf solved this problem. hahah

Well, they did way more than that.

The back end is a bit weird. Kind of NASCARish with a bit of JGTC or something. With it being so wide with the upward slope, it really makes the car look a LOT bigger back there. With the better pictures, I'm not so sure that I like it - maybe a bit too over-the-top for me.

It's pretty good. I can see people buying this for the baby CGT nature of its looks.

Did they stretch the wheelbase? Something about it just doesn't look right. That engine cover seems ill-fitted and not very robust. Putting a 997 front fascia on a Cayman is also kinda ricey if you ask me.

But nobody asked me.

I love RUFs as much as anyone but for $400k I would take a CGT over this. It all just seems unbalanced, excessive, and overcooked when the (tiny) Cayman is really just supposed to be a more basic alternative to the 911.

Its impressive piece of engineering exercise BUT its $351k(1.17 conversion). Thats pretty close to the price of a used mint CGT.

I know I would just take the stock Carrera GT instead.
