Damn, pretty decent pricing. I expected it to be around $34k fully loaded. The new Z really has some price differences. Nearly 10k from their base to fully loaded touring. Geez!

Hey man, RSX-S is a mean machine! (I'm sure you know that)

But I know what you mean, EVO VIII, WRX STi, RX-8, 350Z, S2000 so many choices and not enough money.

Can you see a S2000 coupe for about $28000?

I couldn't get to the link, but have they announced the official specs on the RX-8 yet?

Dan,

Check it out here. Starting today you can pre-order/configure the RX-8. With the 6 speed its 250hp/ 159 ft-lbs, 50/50 weight distro, still no weight listed that I can find.

Early test drive opinions have really lacked enthusiasm. I get the feeling this car is competent but does not prompt any great intensity of feeling. It will be interesting to see some write-ups of comparison drives.

Agree on the reviews. They are the usual positive. But reading between the lines, it seems it isn't getting the positiviely gushing over-effusive initial reviews all sports cars get. To me, that means they'll be nit-picking it on the next pass.

Still seems like an excellent competitor though.

Yep, a whole bunch of specs, but still no weight listed. Very strange...
