This with the flywheel, CZ, High Flow Cat, and REVi will put us well into EVO, WRX STi and 350Z territory.
OMG! A 238hp/159 ft lb RX-8 with those mods is equal to a 300hp/300 ft lb STi?

Man those Mazda guys get cheaper 4.77 gears and can make 300hp with a few mods!!

On the positive side, we know where to go for some cheap 4.44's!
I checked on the cost of the OEM Mazda 4.44 awhile ago and it was around $460 from Mazda at my Mazda mech friends price. There is a group buy going on right now for the 4.44 for $360 shipped in the Marketplace section....check it out

I like how the guys don't factor in install prices and fluids, only one guy seemed to mention the need for a yellow box. they claim it's about a 400-500 job. Only reason it's so much for us is b/c of the reinforced diff housing.

I think it will still cost them at least 900 to do the job right.

the best part is, how they claim they will all sell us their stock rear gears and recover their costs. Wonder if they know about the membership requirement here?

After this thread the RX-8 Club will flame us in this topic... Same as RX8 Club of Greece flamed our Greek S2000 Owners Club.

I love that.

BUT which car would sustain the most damage?
hmmm....
Dont think too hard about it, the DSM would fall to pieces before it even hit the ground
