i'm just wondering i keep seeing all these post about people crashing evo's on test drive a week after they came out etc.. i'm just wondering if any s2000's where crashed in the usa when they first came out

There were several crashed very early. Some were rolled and some people were killed. It happens with any new car.

 

Some people are just too stupid to understand that there is a LEARNING CURVE when you get a new car, and that you have to work your way up on your speed and such when driving a car you have not driven before. For 99.9% of us, we must slowly learn the characteristics of the vehicle and then go from there...unfortunately too many people go out and try driving at 110% of their ability and end up wrecking new cars. Sad.
