S2000. Is it fast? Serious question here.
Quikag, now I have a name to the quote. How'd you like your MGB? One of my friends is nuts about them, I forget which years he has, but he has two of them, one died on him, and he's trying to sell the tranny to it cuz he has like 2 or 3 trannys. And the other he still drives, but it has a habit of abnormally overheating and eating oil like nobody's busines..
Well, I guess we're hijacking this thread, but I will say this to keep it somewhat on track. An S2000 is DEFINITELY much faster than an MGB.
It was a good, fun car. Blew the head gasket and had to get the motor rebuilt. Also, the clutch went out. The car only had 38k original miles when I got it, but stuff had just slowly worn out, so the above mentioned repairs needed to be done. It was fun to drive, not much power at all, but handled decently. It was just a cool car to drop the top on and just cruise around. It had a four speed manual tranny.
I never had an electrical problems, but the Lucas electronics are notorious for being problematic. Not that there was much in the way of electronics on the '73 model.
