S2000. Is it fast? Serious question here.
Tuner.Vision,
If you were really a "DYING LOVER OF S2000" then you really wouldn't give a damn what other people are saying about the car...if you did then can't claim to be such a lover of the car. Like it or don't like it for what it is, not for what other people say about it. To quote another board member, not sure which one, "It's more fun to drive a slow car fast than it is to drive a fast car slow"
And I for one, think the s2000 is a pretty damn peppy car.

IRS + car with a chassis/suspension set up from the factory for road-racing + peaky torque-curve + heavy curb weight /= good straight line car is anyone's book.
A good straight line car is one that has a live rear axle, really flat torque curve, shit loads of torque, and proper gearing. That car is an F-Body.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: The Supra is an overweight, understeering pig that handles like a blind jellyfish on a skateboard with square wheels.
The F-body is more of a track car than the MkIV, IMO; it's easier to get the F-body to handle, than it is the Supra.

You are greatly mistaken. The Supra is a very, very capable car on a road course with its handling being as big of an advantage as its power. What you said above was completely closed-minded, boneheaded, and a bit retarded. It was one of the best handling cars around at the time it was introduced 10 years ago, and will still outhandle a shit load of sports cars on the road today. Anyone who refers to the Supra as a bad handling car is simply talking out of their ass.
Or as xpander4 mentioned, you were probably joking. If so, never mind what I said above.

EDIT: Ok...after reading that notion about the F-Body, (that I somehow missed the first time I read your post) I know you had to be joking. Carry on.
