That's stretching it. A stock 355 will rape a comparable stock NSX. The NSX better compares (and beats) the mostly unloved 348.
Not really.

F355's run high 12's at best..they weren't the fastest of Ferraris.

A 3.2L NSX with a decent driver should easily keep up with it.

Not! In what? Acceleration? The F355 may have a slight edge, very slight, but doesn't mean "rape". Track? This is a tough call, but the NSX is lighter and more agile, so I give it an edge. I don't see "rape" anywhere.

Hatred usually always come from jealousy. For example Honda drivers hate mustang because they have the torque. hehe

Yes really.

The 355 generally runs to 60 in 4.4 to 4.6 seconds and the 1/4 mile in the 12.7 - 12.9 range (like you stated). The 3.2L NSX is good for a 60 mph time in the 4.8 - 5.0 second range with a 13.1 - 13.2 1/4 mile time the norm. The 355 will also hold a skidpad better than an NSX. On a track with comparable drivers the 355 dominates the NSX, put a duff in the Ferrari and yes maybe the NSX "keeps" up. The 355 has 85 more HP along with 44 lb-ft torque while giving up a little more weight. I owned a 91' Formula Red NSX prior to my S2000 and was very active at NSX Prime, I know what they can and cannot do. Any 355 would easily hand my 3.0L 91' NSX its ass. The NSX is a great car and I would own another, it is not a threat to the 355 however.

The S2k uses a mazda developed frame right? it has 50:50 distribution like all the RX cars since the FC right?

As much as i like the FD, it looks to me like the RX-8 has equal potential while being more practical and it has a better engine design that is much more reliable than the REW.
