Yes, because MPGs in sports cars totally matter.

So, I think it MPG does matter in a sports car....if it was directionaly proportional to the HP output.

The RX8 is really just a speedy econobox. Too many seats, goofy looking, and a fixed roof. WTF is that whole fixed roof thing about? This is like comparing fried chicken to shovel.
I can see how the design is a love/ hate thing but it is certainly a sports car with extra doors more than it is a sedan that is trying to be sporty.
Say what you want about a RX8, I stick with the ecomobox statement, my guess it is about as fast as a WRX in every metric and that really is just a speedy econobox. The S2000 is just a different vehicle, 2 seats, ragtop, pretty, like I said fried chicken and a shovel, and me likee fried chicken.

And regardless of speed potential, in my experience (I've driven both, and instructed students in both), the RX-8 is a sports car, the WRX is a speedy econobox, in my estimation.

So all cars with 4 seats, fixed roofs, and "goofy" looks (subjective) are econoboxes?
The only first-hand experience this guy has had with an RX8 is looking at one drive by.
NOTHING ELSE!!!
