I really can't understand why MPG is even a consideration. You are trading in a $17,000ish car for a $34,000 car. That $17,000 price difference will buy you about 5000 gallons of premium gasoline, which is enough fuel to last you for more than 100,000 mi...

the Evo is only costing me $26000 for an MR 12K pristine condition owned by a 40ish guy. I guess you have a point there... im just trying to justify if its worth owning and spending that kind of money on the EVO. Im very good at taking care of cars, so im hoping that mitsu isnt a piece of crap. Cause im very spoiled with Honda and Acura.

Fuel will be factor if it goes up to like $5/gallon or $10/gallon. Hopefully i wont see that.

Evo or not were all F*****!

My F/I S isn't a money pit.

I just choose to spend most of my money on it.

evo is a lot more useful. Reliability is tough to know since so many evo owners abuse their cars. I have seen about the same gas mileage out of the evo and S2000. I would say the evo is a more expensive car to maintain.

These are three totally different cars your talking about. The Evo and the s2000 are pretty close in gas mileage if you drive aggressively, in the end you will not be saving a significant amount a month on gas.

If you don't plan on modding the Evo then just keep the RSX. Better gas mileage and lot more comfortable.

Supercharged S is significantly quicker than a stock Evo IX MR, except from a dig, which favors the Evo's AWD traction.
