Anyone see the concept Saturn? I saw one at the Detroit Auto Show. It looks like they took the inspiration from Honda mod'ers and applied it to a Saturn S. The paint job started yellow in the front and faded to red in the back. The tires were rather interesting (and odd). The front tires each had two tread rows in yellow. The back tires were the same but with red stripes. (The tires were still black rubber, just color strips visible if you look at the tread.)

The interesting aspect of this concept (yes concept, but it looked like a finished product ready for production, maybe because it looked so much like a regular Saturn coupe) is that fact that it was a turbo 1.9 liter outputting 300 HP. Not bad for an 1.9 liter Saturn.

However, the S2000 had so much more of a crowd. Honda didn't have a great layout/display. Acura got it right and had all the cars easily visible and all in silver (my favorite). Honda had varying colors and the S2000 was sandwiched between Civics and Accords. No justice! But seeing the crowd around the S2000, I so wanted to stand there with my arms crossed, proudly telling people how great a car it is. But then I saw the NSX (my dream car). Oh well, I can't afford $99,400+ for a car (my wife likes our house too much).
