Saw one in person and they don't look quite as awkward as they do in pictures.

Just walked by one on Newbury st. in Boston in a gorgeous gunmetal finish.

It definitely strikes a presence, both in the front and rear views.

I want.

I think it looks decent, but the inside for me (6'4") is downright claustrophobic

Its nice to see a lot of the haters of the design come around. It was unaminously hated at first. I've seen BMW traditionalists that hated it come around too.

I have to say that your post is not clever. No one would EVER confuse a BMW X6 for a nasty Pontiac Aztek...
I agree. The X6 does not have: Separated headlights, a squared off back, Gobs and gobs of plastic, CRX-wanna be glass, etc. The Aztec looks like a lego.

Ok - MAYBE I am not being fair. However, I don't understand the purpose of this vehicle. Who needs a 5000 lbs. SAV? BTW, What the heck is a SAV? Its not roomy as a X5 or as sporty as a 3 series Station wagaon or a real sports coupe(M3). So what does it offer? Basically you are getting a lifted hatchback.

And taking to it the track - come on - lets get REAL!
