Default Shell Rotella Oils

http://www.rotella.com/products/index.php

Got an Oil question.

Some background: I usually use Mobil 1 on my NSX, and 1/2 Mobil 1, 1/2 regular motor oil in my Accord and Seinna. It works well I guess. The cars have less than 60k on them. The NSX is a wknd driver but gets a serious workout at the track. The other vehicles are used mainly for city driving usually less than 5 miles, and occasionaly for trips to Houston(240 miles ) or Dallas(110 miles). The Accord had a RMS failure 2 months ago that was fixed out of warranty.

Our company van driver(ex commercial truck driver) uses only Rotella on the 2002 seinna company van. Granted he puts about 60k miles on it a year. However, he swears by it and uses it in all his family vehicles.

I notice that the oil is mainly for heavy duty truck use, but I figure what is the harm in using it in my cars. He claims that it reduces the possibilty of future oil leaks. I figure I will get less mpg.

SO, my question is: Would you consider using the Rotella on the Van or Accord if it meant the engine would last longer and not leak oil. Do you guys have any data or experience with it.

TIA
