About neutral info now. Do I really need to shift from a gear into neutral just to warm the engine up? Aren't the only things that need warming up diesel engine vehicles?

What about launching? Can't I just shift into 1st when coming to a stop sign and stay in 1st as long as I want? When launching, can't I just stay in 1st and rev it, then release the brake?

 

Is this April Fools Day or something????

 

This is one of those things you have to get in a car (w/ someone who can drive manual) and learn for yourself. Its easier to learn from experience than reading it of the internet.
