WRTV released their third shootout, and its by far the best one. I couldn't choose a car to root for, and I really couldn't decide who would win. Both are very impressive, but I'm surprised the Lexus is actually formidable against the RS4!

Why would you buy either of these if you want performance from a 70k sedan? The answer is the M3. Unless you have to have AWD then the answer again is obvious. The track performance of the M3, C63, RS4, and ISF has been shown over and over.

because it depends on what you mean by performance. I could see a lot of people buying a C63 or ISF in order to hand the M3s their ass from a roll. Unless you're tracking it, the M3 is probably the slowest of the bunch.

"handed the Lexus its ass..." How so? The IS F is faster on the straights, on the tracks, handles better, etc. If it lost some points to the RS4 in some comparos because of subjective things like styling, saying such a thing is simply stupid. Personally, I think the IS F looks sharper and more aggressive, its interior is also nicer. But those are subjective also. The fact is that the IS F is faster in almost every situation.
