Get some Recaros or Brides
I already made the calls and everything, but do you mean GT seats or race seats? I wanted the oem seats really, and race seats would need a roll bar and harness right? I've read not to use them with oem seatbelts.
Either but I'd get race seats, you can use OEM seat belts with race seats.

UPDATE - The new top was installed, the seats arrived, and NOW they can't put the seats in. A prior owner spliced the wiring for race seats. The only reason the stock seats airbag was working was because they spliced those too! Insurance won't pay for wiring harness because it's pre-loss.

You can defeat this somehow.

Sorry you're going through all this trouble. I woudln't worry about anyone in the community, I'd just do what is right for you. Not sure what a harness costs but I'd probably get the dealership to figure out a way to bill insurance for it. They have to return the car to you in the same functional condition as you had the car prior to the accident. Challenge them on the statement they won't pay for a harness. You didn't splice the wires and they insured the car. If the car has been off the road for a month try to get a credit from them, might cover the harness. Not sure.

Best of luck.

FYI - I would have totaled and walked.

Harnesses cost 330 each. In the end, no shop owner in their right mind would have done what Allstate suggested they do, which is rewire the new seats to work with spliced harnesses. I caved in and had Honda install new cabin wiring harnesses on each side. Boys....she's comin home!

I just hope i can keep her out of trouble from now on...
