Default SMG and heel n toe?

Can one do heel and toe with SMG (M3 comes to mind)? Just curious. Thanks.

I own a 2004 M3 / SMGII... It's possible to heel toe, I've never learned the concept... there have been threads on this @ M3forum so yes it is possible! Most the guys that own SMG auto-x...

SMG is fast in and out of corners... and if an MT6 driver mis-shifts, I'm out

Doesn't SMG only have two pedals? And blip the throttle for you on downshifts already?

the SMGII in the M3's does not properly rev match on down shifts. The Ferrari F1 box does.

Since the reason for Heal and Toe is to rev match on the downshift (3 pedals, 2 feet) why on earth would one want to do it in an SMG that rev matches for you?

There's this thing all (or all but one) F1 drivers do - left foot braking, two pedals two feet. Now you can balance brake against thottle, leave on a tiny bit of throttle in some places, and all sorts of cute tricks.

Check out the F1 Mag that has the comparison of Schumacher and Rubens and how much more MS gets out of the car with LFB, and all the additional tricks that are available.
