Sold my s2000 - Need a new vehicle
I just sold my s2000 and I'm now in search of another summer vehicle.
- Motorcycle or summer car (convertible or sporty 2-door coupe). No domestic cars really interest me.
I got $16,000 for my S2000, but I don't want to exceed double that. In other words, maximum price I'm willing to spend is $32-35k. Summer use only. Will never see snow. Preferably 2003 or newer.
I typically prefer to buy my vehicles 1-3 years old to avoid the initial depreciation and also to maximize my spending power so to speak ($50k vehicles can often drop to the $35k mark after a couple years). For a bike, I'd buy new.
My other car is a 2006 BMW 525i.
Any suggestions??

i was going to say.... might need to provide some information here on why you got rid of your S...
i went from ap1 to a cbr600.... a year later, i bought an ap2.... bike was great, but it wasn't what i wanted and ended up being much happier (and getting more seat time) with another S.

You guys are right, I didn't give you much of a background....
The reason I sold the s2000 today was for a couple reasons. I've gotten a little bit older and my tastes have changed a bit. Ever since I got my '06 BMW 525i, I really didn't enjoy the ride quality of the s2000 much anymore and I'm looking for a few more 'creature comforts' in my next car. I'm also typically not one to own a car for more than a couple years since there's always something else that catches my eye.
What I'm looking for:
* A 2-door vehicle (preferably a convertible)
* Maybe not the fastest thing on the road, but not a dog either
* Smooth ride (not necessarily as smooth as a Cadillac per se, but not as rough as a Lotus either)
* Not a big fan of domestics
* Under $35k
*Relatively new ('03 or newer)
The car will be used as a daily driver in the summer months and parked in a garage during winter. Will never see snow.
