Solstice Mallett
I'm thinking of getting a Mallett and selling my S. I know they are completely different rides, but I'm trying to list the good and bad points of going this route so I can make a decision.
Other tan the obvious (HP, torque, cost) what should I look into. I think the Solstice top is manual, and I would expect the fit and finish not to be near as good as the S.
I'm going to a Pontiac dealer this weekend to look at the Solstice (if they have one). Has anyone out there driven one or know someone who has one?
Any input would be appreciated.

It would be cool, but, form me, hard to justify one of those over a C6 Corvette.

Hmmm.. A corvette or a solstice...... let me think about this.....
American icon or desperate attempt......hmmmm......
Hi tech engineering or a 20k dollar Pontiac with a big engine shoehorned in it ........
Targe top or convertable or a fiddly convertable that will take me 10 minutes just to put down........
I can carry bag of groceries in the trunk or a bag of groceries can ride shotgun......
HIDs or bugeyes....
HUD or parts bin pieces....
Heritage or ... um.. Fiero??......
Corvette owners club or Solstice owners club.....
I could go on and on but there really isn't any sense in it.
Hell, lets wedge a Bugatti 16.4 engine into it and sell it for 1.5 million. Which would I rather have??......

In CA, you see Corvettes all over the place they are only going to make 100 Malletts a year, so it will be a unique vehicle.

The C6 vert should be a better car for the same money. The only reason to have a V8 solstice is to have something no one else has.
