It will beat a Boxster, its the Boxster S thats gives us a run for our money.
Now referring to the statement earlier about the Top Gear comparo.... look at my avitar. Who is that and whats he in?
The deciding factor in that comparo was the Stig. Unfortunatly the track was pretty wet, and while all of the other cars came equipped with nanny systems to keep the car going where it was supposed to go, the S did not. I don't need to tell anyone who owns an S2000 how you have to drive in the rain do I?
Now, if it were dry...... Bye Bye Z4 and Boxster.

New base Boxster has the same weight as new S2000.
Base Boxster has same HP, but considerably more TQ, less drivetrain loss, and better Cd to boot.
So please explain to me what are the factors, aside from shorter gearing, that allow an S2000 to decisively "rape" a base Boxster.

Even if an S2000 beats a certain Boxster, I wouldn't call our car (stock) a Boxster killer by any stretch of the imagination. The S/C will def. make it one.
