The new vette z06...1/4 mile in 11.7 seconds, top speed of 198 miles per hour...wow...and it gets like 18 city/26 highway, which isnt too bad for a 7.0 litre 505 hp v8

 

I think Car and Driver magazine tested it at 16 mpg city, and 26 mpg highway, but that's still awesome considering the raw performance numbers. The only thing they said it didnt have was a lot of feedback in the steering/handling department.

Yep 2x the HP of the S and 3x the torque and gets the same gas mileage is awesome.

Another perspective: Its faster than the F430 and gets MUCH better gas mileage (almost 2x). The F430 gets 11/16 (13mpg combined), the Z06 gets 16/26 (prolly 21/22 combined). I dont judge sports cars by gas mileage, but great gas mileage is always applauded when it does not hurt performance.
