It's just a newer 1985-1986 Toyota Corolla. Hopefully with this Nissan will finally release their own 240sx reboot car

The FR-S/BRZ has a lot more in common with the S13 than with the AE86. Size, weight, suspension, proportions, styling cues, etc.

Despite all the AE86 Corolla hype, the car is more similar to an 80s rwd Celica than to the AE86, and more similar to the S13 than the 80s Celica.

Hopefully Nissan *will* respin the s13 as well.

Cool cars, i still haven't seen one in person yet. To bad the idiots at Nissan rather spend time and money on making a convertible Murano (the dumbest car ever!!!) than working on a new 240sx (something people will actually buy!!)

It looks to be about the funnest new car under $30K. Hopefully that alone will be enough to sustain it in the market. If my S2000 suddenly needed to be replaced for some reason, it would be at the top of my test drive list.

This is good news for all of us RWD loving guys though... Car manufactures will see this success and think "oh! me too me too" and give us some damn fun (and cheap) cars!
