Default Tractor pull Triple-Turbo!

I'm watching these tractors on ESPN. I'm not sure what size engines, maybe V10/12s, running alcohol. Anyhow, they opened up the engine cover on one, showed 2 huge turbos running in parallel. Yeah... as if that weren't enough, both of those dump into a friggin' Monster! turbo which pumps 100lbs of boost to the engine. Triple-Turbo'd alcohol engine.

Just thought I'd share as I've never seen anything like that before.

dude. LOL. thats nothin, keep watchin. youll see even more neat combos.
last time we went, there was an allis-chalmers 4 cyl, with one turbo per cylinder. almost 200 lbs of boost at full tilt. sick. lates

You sure they werent inline diesels converted to run on alcohol.

oh no, LOL. you could paint every square acre of PA with how much soot shot out. and the chug of a big fat runnin diesel is unmistakeable.

What happens when 7000+ rpm and 200+ psi of boost are no longer contained within the confines of a combustion chamber.

OUCH. I guess next time they'll have to use twice as many bolts to keep its head on.

That's cool though. I wonder how much torque those things generate...
